BuyArtGuide is an independent research publication. We evaluate online art marketplaces on behalf of artists and collectors who want an honest, data-backed view of which platforms are worth their time — and which aren't.
How we work
We spend time on each platform as both an artist and a buyer. We review onboarding flows, test artist dashboards, analyse commission structures, and track buyer traffic using third-party data sources. Our scores are not influenced by commercial relationships with the platforms we review.
